Bangladesh-Pakistan Reunion

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

I am a Trading officer working in a leading stock broker firm  here  in Dhaka, Bangladesh.I was born just one year before the civil war broken out between the East and West Pakistan, that is in 1970. My father was a civil servant of central govt. of Pakistan. He always dreaming a strong and unified Pakistan. He always told me Pakistan and Bangladesh can not able to go foreword without mutual collaboration. You know, in 1947 we got a Pakistan with two wings, distance between these two wings are 1200 km. Before 1971 our leadership did not take much plans to reduce the differences between East and West Pakistan. And after 1971 India took control of Bangladesh and established Shaikh Mujib in power. At present day there are a great number of people who loved Pakistan as a Muslim brotherly country. After 2009 election pro-Indian Shaikh Hasina came into power and their pro-Indian( and of course anti-Pakistani) policy reduces their popularity. I think, no one can able to break down the relationship between Pakistan and Bangladesh, between it is based on the spirit of Islam. Keep it on the mind that “Muslims are a nation”. I am dreaming, once we Bangladesh and Pakistan will make a confederation………

Parvez.
Dhaka, Bangladesh.

  1. Future of Pakistan and Bangladesh are attached together. One can not able to go forward alone. So, our leadership should think about the possible Pak- bangla confederation…

  2. In almost every week , two or three innocent Bangladeshi citizens are killed by Indian BSF. But, our pro-Indian Awami Liege govt do not condemn these killing. Most of the Dhaka based newspapers print these killing new on the last page.
We have only 45000 Border security forces named “Bangladesh Rifles ” ( former East Pakistan Rifles).
On the other hand India mobilizes 2,50,000 strong BSF men to Bangladesh border.Readers can reveal that how much Bangladeshi people are helpless on the border area with India.
Allah Almighty always helping us.So, we do not go to direct rule by the Delhi regime.

  3. Anyone can say? how many people were killed in East Pakistan during the civil war in 1971…3 million? This is not authentic. There is no gadget notification which can support it. After the war in ’71 a letter was written to former East German govt for financial help to re build Bangladesh and the figure “3 million” was added and we now using this figure. After war in ’71 Shaikh Mujib govt. formed a body to estimate number of killing in East Pakistan. But they found that only 43,000 peoples were killed. After that no declaration had been made through gadget notification.

  4. The people of what was once East and West Pakistan are not far from reclaiming a common heritage, transforming the shared history into a positive partnership that builds on a person-to-person bond rather than on diplomatic or official niceties.
